Carrie's Corner

Carrie was born in 1865 ~ the adored mother of Ken's father (who passed away at the age of 103 in 1999). This very private corner room has a tall walnut bed with faux painting, a sofa, a rocker, a TV with video player, magazines, and lots of pictures of Carrie and her family.

The bath has double sinks and a shower with a seat. The walk-in closet doubles as a dressing room. Breakfast may be served in this special room.

     "Leslie and I have thoroughly enjoyed spending our 'get-away' with you kind folks. This time that we have spent with you both and the other guests will be lasting memories for us. It was difficult this morning to wake Leslie up to reality. She did not want to leave, and, for a moment, I had to imagine how to cope with life without her!
     The food was delicious and the preparation and hospitality was exemplary. We will be back and we will bring our family and friends - not all at one time."
